Nintendo Europe Confirms Gamescom 2026 Lineup

Gamescom 2026 is now just weeks away, which means it’s time for publishers to bring to Europe’s biggest gaming event. Nintendo has officially joined the list. The company has now confirmed the games visitors can expect to see at its booth later this month.

Nintendo has announced its official Gamescom 2026 lineup, featuring a mix of first-party exclusives and major third-party releases heading to Nintendo Switch 2. The event will run between August 26 and August 30 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

Nintendo’s first-party games lead the lineup

Nintendo’s own showcase includes Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, Splatoon Raiders, and the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass. All three titles are expected to be playable for attendees visiting the company’s Hall 9 booth.

While those games headline Nintendo’s first-party offerings, several major third-party publishers will also have a strong presence. Perhaps the biggest highlights include 007 First Light and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

Notably, neither game’s Nintendo Switch 2 version has been shown publicly before. Gamescom could therefore offer fans their first proper look at how both titles perform on Nintendo’s newest hardware. Other playable games confirmed for Nintendo’s booth include EA Sports FC 27, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Minecraft Dungeons 2, and Orbitals, giving visitors a broad mix of genres throughout the event.

Gamescom 2026 is shaping up to be a major showcase

Nintendo’s announcement arrives as more publishers continue unveiling their Gamescom plans. Earlier this week, Bandai Namco and Capcom also confirmed their lineups, with several highly anticipated games expected to appear throughout the exhibition.

According to Nintendo, attendees will find its booth inside Hall 9 during the five-day event. Beyond Nintendo’s own lineup, Gamescom will also feature the first public playable versions of Mega Man: Dual Override and Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen at Capcom’s booth.
