Here’s some good news if you use Notion on Windows—you can now grab it directly from the Microsoft Store. Microsoft announced this change just days ago at Build 2025, and it didn’t take long to roll out.
Notion confirmed the launch on X with a simple message: “Heads up! Notion is finally in the Microsoft Store. Go wild, Windows friends.” If you’re not familiar, Notion is an all-in-one productivity app where you can take notes, manage projects, write docs, track tasks, and collaborate with others.
It’s already been popular across devices, and now it’s even easier to install on Windows PCs—no browser or account setup needed. Just open the Store, search for Notion, and click download.
There’s a catch, though. The Store listing says Notion requires 8GB of RAM, even though the official system requirements only mention Windows 10 21H2 or newer. You can download Notion from the Microsoft Store here.
This is part of Microsoft’s push to improve the Microsoft Store and make it more useful for you. At Build 2025, the company also shared that individual developers can now publish apps without paying the old $19 fee.
