Opera browser upgrades Lucid Mode to beat the Winter blues

Opera software has updated its desktop browser just in time for winter with an improved Lucid mode and new sunrise wallpapers to help limit your issues with SAD to a certain extent through its software update. The upgraded Lucid mode feature is available in latest Opera 105 stable.

Upgraded Lucid Mode

Lucid mode is a feature in the Opera browser that provides videos with better brightness, sharpness, and clarity than ever before. The company introduced this feature last year in 2022 to enhance video quality. Microsoft Edge also has Enhance video feature available.

Lucid Mode 2.0: With the latest update, not only the feature but also the underlying technology has been updated, resulting in improved browser performance and battery life.

You can adjust the video quality to your preference and then hover on the Lucid Mode button on any video. Click a slider and see how the crispness improves right away.

You can enhance the quality of any video on a website with Lucid Mode. Just click the icon with three stars that appears next to the video. You can drag a slider across the video to see the difference in brightness, sharpness, and clarity in real-time. You can also fine-tune the level of enhancement in the browser settings.

As mentioned above, Opera received two new wallpapers: “sunrise” and “Sunrise Motion“. You can find them in Easy setup > Get more wallpapers.
