Key notes

  • The feature should be available now, as the rollout is scheduled for September.
  • If you're using Outlook for Windows, you should be able to add your iCloud accounts there too.
  • However, keep in mind that only the new Outlook for Windows has the feature.

Users with iCloud accounts will now be able to add their account to the new Outlook for Windows, according to the latest entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.

Until now, Outlook for Windows didn’t support iCloud accounts, so this is a more than welcomed feature for those Mac users who have iCloud accounts but are also keen users of Microsoft 365 products.

Currently, Outlook allows for a variety of email accounts to be enlisted in the app: Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, and many others, can be added in Outlook, which can function as a useful email hub for all of your accounts.outlook icloud account

Interestingly enough, this feature is only available on the new Outlook, which is set to become the standard Outlook by 2025, when the classic Outlook version will reach the end of its life.

iCloud accounts should be added as any other account. Your iCloud email and password should be enough to enlist it in the new Outlook for Windows.
