Popular Streamer 'Tfue' Among Players Hit With ARC Raiders 30-Day Bans

Many suspects Embark is relying on AI-powered moderation system

ARC Raiders is suddenly facing backlash from its own players. Over the past day, players across the community have been reporting unexpected account blocks and 30-day bans, with no clear explanation attached. The situation escalated quickly after popular streamer Tfue shared a screenshot showing his ARC Raiders account had been blocked, claiming he had no idea what triggered the ban.

Tfue’s case appears to be part of a bigger issue. Social media platforms are now filled with similar complaints from players who say they were hit with temporary bans despite playing normally. The timing has raised eyebrows, especially since Embark Studios recently confirmed it had ramped up anti-cheat detection and ban enforcement to deal with cheaters more aggressively.

That announcement may explain what’s happening now. Many players believe Embark is relying heavily on an automated, AI-driven moderation system that may be acting too fast. According to the online theories, mass or “rage” reports could be triggering bans without enough human review. If true, genuine players may be getting caught in the crossfire.

Interestingly, all reported bans so far appear to last 30 days. Some fans think that’s intentional. A temporary ban limits damage if the system makes a mistake, while still discouraging bad actors. Others argue it’s not nearly enough punishment for actual cheaters, especially in a competitive extraction shooter.

The ban notification itself includes a link to customer support, suggesting Embark Studios expects disputes. That detail alone hints that the studio is aware that something may not be working as intended. For now, Embark has not released an official statement addressing the false ban claims.
