SAPPHIRE Prepares Crimson Desert–Themed RX 9070 XT for AMD Promotion
Crimson Desert was showcased recently, and hardware partners have already started using the game in their promotions. New retail data now points to a themed graphics card tied directly to the upcoming RPG.
Radeon RX 9070 NITRO+ Crimson Desert Edition Spotted
As reported by VideoCardz, listings reveal the full product name as SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16GB Crimson Desert Edition. The card carries a clear visual and branding tie-in with Crimson Desert, the open-world action RPG developed by Pearl Abyss.
The custom GPU uses board code 11348-10-20G, confirming that it’s a distinct SKU rather than a simple marketing label. Evidence of the model also appears in a recent SAPPHIRE TRiXX software update.
TRiXX Update Confirms Crimson Desert Edition
SAPPHIRE TRiXX version 11.0.0 adds official support for two new GPUs: the RX 9070 XT PhantomLink Series and the RX 9070 XT Crimson Desert Edition. This software confirmation strongly suggests coordinated planning between SAPPHIRE and AMD rather than a last-minute branding decision.
SAPPHIRE has already leaned into Crimson Desert imagery in its RX 9000-series marketing. Character artwork from the game has appeared on at least one NITRO+ RX 9000 retail page, reinforcing the partnership’s visibility.
AMD also lists Crimson Desert as a featured title with a dedicated hardware guidance page, further signaling its importance in upcoming Radeon promotions.
Neither AMD nor SAPPHIRE has confirmed a launch date for the Crimson Desert Edition RX 9070 XT. However, the game itself is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026, with pre-orders expected ahead of launch. That timeline suggests the GPU could arrive closer to the game’s release window.
In other Radeon news, Acer now offers the Nitro RX 9070 in a white color option, while AMD has recently launched the Ryzen 7 9850X3D, expanding its latest desktop lineup.
