Six new NVIDIA RTX Spark-powered Windows 11 laptops are up for pre-order

NVIDIA is expanding its RTX Spark ecosystem with a new wave of Windows laptops built for local AI that give creators and developers more options besides Microsoft’s recently announced Surface Laptop Ultra. The company says these RTX Spark-powered PCs are designed for workloads such as local AI inference, image generation and video generation. NVIDIA claims they can deliver up to 2.1x faster time to first token, 4.3x faster AI image generation and 6.2x faster AI video generation compared with a 16-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Pro.

NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops from ASUS, HP, Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo, and MSI are up for grabs

1. ASUS ProArt RTX Spark Windows PCs

ASUS is offering the ProArt P16 and ProArt P14, its first creator laptops built around RTX Spark. Both can be configured with up to 128GB of unified memory and feature Lumina Pro OLED displays with up to 1,600 nits peak brightness and 120Hz VRR. ASUS says the machines are designed for local AI models, 3D work and demanding creative workflows.

2. DELL XPS 16 Creator Edition

Dell is bringing RTX Spark to its XPS lineup with the XPS 16 Creator Edition, the first XPS laptop powered by the platform. It can pack up to 128GB of unified memory and a 3.2K Tandem OLED display, while Dell is targeting creators and developers with features such as smoother 4K timeline playback, faster exports and local AI development.

3. HP OmniBook Ultra 16 & X 14

HP’s OmniBook Ultra 16 takes a more performance-focused approach and starts at $3,199.99. The laptop can be configured with up to 128GB of unified memory and 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance, alongside a 16-inch 3K OLED display and a 99Wh battery rated for up to 17 hours. HP has also designed a new cooling system with larger heat pipes and dual ultra-thin fans for sustained workloads. Not to forge5, the company is also offering the HP OmniBook X 14 at a starting price of $2,999.99.

4. The Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1

Lenovo is taking RTX Spark into a convertible with the Yoga 9n 2-in-1. The 16-inch machine supports up to 64GB of unified memory and features a 2.8K PureSight Pro OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its 360-degree design and dual-surface pen experience are aimed at creators who want to sketch, annotate and edit directly on the display or Force Pad.

5. MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+

MSI’s Prestige N16 Flip AI+ combines RTX Spark with a 16-inch UHD+ Tandem OLED display, a 99.9Wh battery and a 2-in-1 design. MSI says the laptop is aimed at creators, developers and gamers, with the display reaching more than 1,000 nits peak brightness and covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

6. Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra

Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra rounds out the lineup with up to 128GB of unified memory, a 15-inch PixelSense Ultra touchscreen and a new thermal architecture designed for sustained performance. Microsoft says the laptop has up to 2.5x the thermal power capacity of its current Surface Laptops.

All six RTX Spark-powered Windows laptops are available for pre-order, with shipping scheduled to start on October 16. NVIDIA says RTX Spark-powered developer boxes and mini desktops are also coming later this year.
