Skype experienced a bug causing users to receive repeated push notifications. This issue affected some users and was attributed to a glitch in the app, resulting in multiple notifications from the app.

Skype acknowledged the problem and apologized through a tweet, stating they were actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. They assured users that they would provide updates on the progress of fixing the bug and would inform them when the issue was resolved.

Certain users have reported receiving frequent notifications, with some receiving them as often as every hour for specific features. In addition, some users have experienced an excessive amount of notifications for a single new message. These notifications have included information about chats and new features.

In addition to addressing the push notification issue, Skype introduced a few new updates last week to enhance user experience and functionality, including auto download and easy file saving.
