Can’t Connect to Steam Friends List? 5 Ways to Keep Connection On

4. Change Steam properties

1. Navigate to the Steam shortcut on your PC and right-click on it to select Properties.
2. Click on the Shortcut tab, add  -nofriendsui on the Target window and click OK to save it.
3. Check if you can access your friends’ list.

5. Exit the beta version

1. Launch Steam and click on Settings.
2. Select Account, then under Beta participation section, click Change.
3. Click on Opt out of all beta programs and press OK.
4. Restart Steam again.
