Microsoft has announced the availability of a couple of user improvements to the Presenter window while screen sharing in Teams Public Preview. Back in 2021, the company began rolling out the in-meeting Share experience which was designed to help presenters share content from their devices easily.
And now, with these new improvements to the new Presenter window feature, users will be able to establish more control over the Teams meeting activity even while screen sharing or when engaged in other activities away from the main meeting window.
According to Microsoft:
- Controls are docked at the top, which makes active speakers’ faces clearly visible.
- Raise hands and other important meeting notifications are surfaced for easier recognition.
That said, it should be noted that these improvements come with one know issue. Live Events Presenters aren’t able to see the Live Events status label in the Presenter window. However, they can get to see it via the main window.
Users that are part of Teams Public Preview should be able to access this feature provided they are using Windows or macOS Teams client.
