The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Pre-Order Date May Have Just Leaked

Nintendo may have finally gave Zelda fans what they’d been asking all this while after officially unveiling The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake last month. While the reveal stole the spotlight, the company stopped short of announcing one key detail: when players can actually pre-order the game. Now, a newly discovered GameStop listing may have provided an early answer.

August 4 could mark the start of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake pre-orders

According to MyNintendoNews, which spotted a post on X by account @nintendobu, a cached version of GameStop’s product page appears to reference August 4, 2026, alongside a mention of a pre-order bonus.

The listing has reportedly since been updated, but screenshots shared online show both the August 4 date and the reference to an included bonus. Since Nintendo has yet to confirm an official release date for pre-orders, many believe the cached date likely refers to when pre-orders will go live.

As of now, neither Nintendo nor GameStop has commented on the report. Speaking of the remake itself, Nintendo officially revealed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake during the latest Switch Direct, finally confirming months of speculation surrounding one of the company’s most requested projects.

For now, it’s best to treat the information as a rumor until Nintendo confirms exactly when pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake will begin and whether any pre-order bonuses will indeed be offered.
