How do I turn on notifications for Twitch?
1. Try using a different browser
Sometimes changing the browser might help you fix this problem. Try using a different browser to log in to Twitch and change your settings.

Enable live notifications on Twitch
- Open Twitch in your browser.
- Click on your avatar in the top right corner and open Settings.
- Select Notifications and choose Twitch.
- Make sure that Live notifications are enabled.
- Alternatively, you can try and disable the Smart notifications option.
Enable live notifications in Browser
- Navigate to Settings again.
- Choose Notifications.
- Under the Receive Browser Notifications for this Device section, click Turn On.
- When the prompt appears, click Allow.

Reinstall the app
- In the Windows Search bar, type Control and open Control Panel.
- Choose Uninstall a program.
- Remove the Twitch app.
- Download and install Twitch.
- Sign-in into the app and ensure all notifications are enabled.
Make sure Smart notifications are disabled
4. Twitch Sub notification not showing
Clear browser‘s cache
- Press Shift + Control + Delete.
- Select the Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data.
- Click on the Clear data button.
Reset your browser (Chrome)
- Open your browser settings.
- Navigate to the bottom.
- Expand Advanced options and scroll to the bottom.
- Click Restore settings to their original defaults.
- Click Reset settings.

Send ticket to Twitch
- Navigate to the Twitch Support.
- Enter your credentials and describe the issue.
- Send the ticket and wait for the response.
6. Twitch not sending email notifications
Re-enable email notifications
- Open Twitch.
- Open Twitch.
- Choose Settings.
- Select Notifications > By Email.
- Toggle the All Emails option.
Re-set your email address
- Open Settings in Twitch.
- Choose Security and Privacy.
- Click on the edit pen on the right.
- Change your email address to an alternative address and verify it.
- Get back and re-enter your old email address and verify that.
- Now, in your email client, ensure that Twitch emails aren’t under spam.
7. Twitch notifications not working Android
Enable Notifications
- Open the Twitch app.
- Navigate to Settings and select Notifications.
- Ensure that all Notifications for Mobile are enabled.
- Alternatively, you can go to phone settings, choose Apps & notifications, and locate the Twitch on the list of the installed apps.
- Open the Twitch from the list and select Notifications.
- Check all the boxes. Also, ensure that Twitch has all the required permissions.
Reinstall the app
- In the Settings go to Apps & notifications.
- Next, select All apps and choose Twitch.
- Choose Uninstall.
- Navigate to the Play Store and install Twitch.
- Look for improvements.
8. Twitch notifications not working iOS
Enable Notifications
- Open Twitch.
- Open Settings and go to Notifications.
- Make sure all notifications for mobile are enabled.
Reinstall the app
- On the home screen, hold the Twitch app and drag it up to uninstall it.
- Navigate to App Store and install Twitch again.
- Sign in with your credentials and look for improvements.
