Vampire Crawlers Hits Xbox Game Pass Day One in April, Subnautica 2 Early Access Follows in May

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are in for a treat all around March. Earlier this month, Microsoft dropped the Wave 1 lineup for Game Pass members, including blockbuster titles like Cyberpunk 2077. Whereas the Wave 2 lineup confirmed earlier this week for the rest of March and early April revealed the addition of Disco Elysium, Resident Evil 7, Final Fantasy IV, and other big titles. That’s not all; Microsoft also confirmed that Kiln, Double Fine’s Pottery Party Brawler, is releasing later in April.

Now, we have yet another game confirmed drop for Xbox Game Pass, scheduled later in April. Here, I’m talking about Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard. Yesterday, the release date trailer for the game went live, confirming that the game will land on April 21st across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam). You’ll also be able to buy it for $9.99 / £9.99 / €9.99.

Next up, you have Subnautica 2, which, according to IGN, will enter early access in May (via PureXbox). Meaning, it will launch as part of the Xbox Game Preview program. To catch you up, the game was already confirmed to land on Xbox Game Pass last year. For now, the exact release date of the game isn’t available.

Speaking of Xbox Game Pass, let’s not forget that two games are confirmed to leave the service on March 31st. Notably, Crimson Desert, which released on Xbox Series X|S and other gaming platforms, has reportedly secured massive Twitch viewership and a 24-hour peak of 240K concurrent players on Steam. Those numbers are notable, given that the title has received mixed early reviews that even took a hit on the developers’ stock. If you are looking for the title’s performance comparison across Xbox consoles, make sure to check our separate coverage.
