Time for another reminder: Windows 11 21H2 and 22H2’s support will end in 60 days. On October 8th, 2024, these two types will no longer receive critical security updates that help protect them against new dangers.
To those who might ask, “Is my computer affected by this change?” — no need to fret. If you use Windows 10 as an everyday user, your system will probably have shifted to Windows 11 version 23H2. This self-operating update method is meant to ensure your computer works appropriately without needing any effort.
However, if you are interested or want to confirm it, you can find the Windows 11 version on your computer by exploring the Settings menu.
A point of interest is that Windows 11 versions 21H2 and 22H2 had two years of active support for Home and Pro editions. This period aligns with the typical life cycle seen in technology, where software swiftly progresses.
Enterprise and Education versions received one more year under the light, receiving three years’ worth of support. This method also gives businesses and educational institutions enough time to prepare for the changes without causing disturbances in their daily activities.
On the other hand, Windows 11 version 23H2, which came out last year, will be retired, and its life will end on November 11th, 2025.
