Microsoft has just released Insider Preview Build 26220.7653 (KB5074157) in Beta Channel for Windows 11 25H2. The update brings changes to the Account Settings. Microsoft has updated the “Add account” and “Change account type” dialogs under Settings > Accounts > Other users. The company says it is “based on [the] modern WinUI framework with support for dark mode.”

Microsoft further notes that the visibility of the above dialog option depends on whether a domain-joined work or school account is configured on the device.

As part of the KB5074157, Copilot prompt suggestions now load instantly in Click to Do. Microsoft says that it has removed the brief delay some users noticed before. That said, this improvement to Click to Do isn’t rolling out to Insiders in the EEA or China just yet.

There’s also a small but welcome personalization update. Windows 11 now supports .webp images as desktop backgrounds. You can set it via Settings > Personalization > Desktop Background. It’s a minor addition, but it offers flexibility around the widely-adopted image format.

Not to forget, the company also rolled out the latest Patch Tuesday updates for Windows 11, which is reportedly triggering a bunch of issues for users. These include Outlook crashes for POP accounts, reboot loops, installation errors, and broken Azure Virtual Desktop connections.

Additionally, users are reporting random black screens on NVIDIA systems, insecure WDS deployment warnings, and false security alerts linked to WinSqlite3.dll, as multiple KB5074109-related problems continue to surface across different setups.
