KB5052094

Microsoft released Windows 11 Build 22631.4969 (KB5052094) to Insiders in the Release Preview Channel on Windows 11, version 23H2. With it, the Redmond-based tech giant is finally fixing some long-standing File Explorer issues, such as an annoying lag when opening the context menu for cloud files.

Microsoft also ensures that the File Explorer in Windows 11 23H2 takes users to the right address when they type an URL in the address bar. KB5052094 also fixed issues such as the address bar overlapping files when using the full-screen.

Plus, the Start Menu will now showcase the correct colors of your preferred Windows 11 theme. Users can also customize the color of the mouse pointer and touch it.

In other areas, KB5052094 improves Windows Spotlight, allowing users to access the feature more easily and faster. The Taskbar was also enhanced to let users share files directly from a jump list on the taskbar.

The Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass cards will be on the Settings home page. If you remember, this new card appears only to those signed into their PCs with their Microsoft account. The Redmond-based tech giant will advise users to try a PC Game Pass for free.
