KB5055627

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 26100.3902 (KB5055627) to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel, introducing an impressive array of AI-driven features to enhance user productivity and interaction with technology.

Recall introduces an innovative way for users to search for content they’ve previously engaged with on their devices. This AI-powered feature allows users to locate apps, websites, images, or documents by describing their content. Recall requires explicit user consent to save snapshots of their activity to ensure user privacy and uses Windows Hello for secure authentication.

KB5055627 also brings Click to Do closer to general availability in Windows 11, whether removing unwanted objects in photos or summarizing on-screen text. Users can activate this feature through a simple shortcut, such as pressing the WIN key with a mouse click or using WIN + Q.

KB5055627 also enhances Windows 11’s search capabilities. Semantic Indexing leverages AI to provide context-aware results, making search queries more intuitive and results more accurate.

Microsoft has announced that these features will be gradually rolled out, with availability dependent on device type and regional factors. However, these capabilities being available to the Preview Channel means that they’ll be available to all users in just a matter of weeks.
