A new program by Microsoft called Xbox Game Pass friend referral is finally here. Now, members of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass invite up to five friends for a free 14-day trial of PC Game Pass. 

Here’s the catch: those invited users must be new to the Game Pass before redeeming their free trial. 

PC Game Pass lets you discover and play a curated library of hundreds of high-quality PC games from great developers around the world, including games like Forza Horizon 5, Sea of Thieves, and more. With new games added all the time, there’s always something new to play.

The announcement arrived shortly after Microsoft’s hotly-anticipated game, Redfall, hit the stores. Albeit mixed reactions from players and critics alike, Game Pass members can play for free, so it’s not always a bad thing.

1. Open the Xbox App on Windows.

2. Click the Give PC Game Pass button and list the emails of friends you want to invite (up to 5).

3. Or, you can also log in via Xbox.com and find Friend Referral invitations there. 

However, here’s another catch: participating in this offer also means that the new user can not use other promos, which sometimes come with accessories. 

And, recently, Redmond officials have also scrapped the $1 trial offers for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass back in March 2023, so this seems like a viable substitute.
