Xbox Rolls Out Console-Like Cloud Gaming Web Dashboard in Public Preview
Xbox has stayed firmly in the spotlight this week. Alongside rumors of a second Developer Direct later this year and criticism over low-effort achievements on its store, the company has now unveiled another notable update.
New Cloud Gaming web redesign is here
In a new blog post, Xbox announced the public preview of a redesigned Cloud Gaming web interface. The update brings the browser experience much closer to the look and feel of the Xbox console dashboard, replacing the older layout with a cleaner and more structured design.
The refreshed interface aims to feel instantly familiar to console players, with clearer navigation and a more visually consistent presentation. According to Xbox, the redesign supports Microsoft’s broader goal of building a unified, device-agnostic ecosystem where cloud gaming feels consistent across browsers and consoles.

Players can already access the new interface through the public preview, although Xbox warns that bugs and rough edges remain. The company plans to continue refining the experience based on user feedback as testing progresses.
Early impressions suggest the new web UI marks a clear improvement over the previous version and could hint at wider changes across Xbox’s cross-device services in the future.
To try the redesigned interface, users need to enable Preview Features under Account settings. The update may take around 10 minutes to activate, and Xbox advises testers to expect occasional issues during this public preview phase.
