Xbox & Walmart Update GTA 6 Pages, Skyrocketing Today's Pre-Order Speculation

Things might change at the last minute, but I’d advise keeping your expectations in check.” While the post doesn’t include any real proof, Tom’s Guide, which first reported on it, notes that admins of the forum have verfied the claims personally. All that said, take this information with a grain of salt.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The hype around GTA 6 is so high that players around the globe are doing their bit to find even minute traces that point towards pre-order, which, based on the Best Buy leak, is scheduled to open sometime later today. While we recently covered the claims made by a prominent insider about GTA 6 pre-orders not opening today, it seems pre-orders may be “imminent.”

Why? Earlier today, some eagle-eyed GTA 6 fans noticed that Xbox’s GTA 6 store page quietly received an update. Here’s the Google Search result for the game that we last checked.

But that’s not all; users across social media also discovered that Walmart Canda also has a listing for pre-ordering the game live as well.

It seems GTA 6 pre-order is live in Europe

Here, it’s also worth noting that a prominent online retailer from Italy, SHOWGAME, has opened pre-orders for GTA 6. From the looks of it, it seems the retailer may have had some confusion regarding the timings given by Take-Two. One user on Reddit claims to have been able to reach the payment page from the listing as well. Here’s a screenshot from the website.

As of now, neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive have officially confirmed anything. However, considering how closely fans are tracking every tiny development around GTA 6, the timing has definitely raised eyebrows online.

Over the past few months, Take-Two boss, Strauss Zelnick, repeatedly hinted that GTA 6 marketing would ramp up during summer 2026. As of now, the game is still locked in or a November 19, 2026.

All that said, nothing here guarantees pre-orders are actually opening today. Retailers often update backend listings ahead of time, and Rockstar has a history of being extremely unpredictable with marketing plans.
