Xbox’s New Logo Rolls Out As Dynamic Backgrounds & More Today

The confirmation came staright from the Xbox CEO

Ever since Asha Sharma assumed the role of Xbox CEO, things are happening thick and fast behind the scenes. Just last month, Asha Sharma and Matt Booty announced the big reset plan for Xbox. While announcing that, the leadership admitted that players are frustrated and Xbox has work to do.

Well, it seems the plan is already under implementation inside Xbox’s walls. In case you are unaware, Sharma responded to a fan request regarding a dynamic background for the new Xbox logo. At the time, she confirmed that Xbox was already “working on it.” Guess what? It’s here, or at least it will be sometime today.

Asha Sharma confirms Xbox new logo is dropping today as dynamic backgrounds and more

In a post on X from earlier today, Asha Sharma confirmed that the new logo in dynamic backgrounds, profile backgrounds, and gamer pics is “dropping today.” Here, we have to commend the turnaround time of Xbox. I mean, it was quick considering the new Xbox logo was unveiled just last week.

At a time when Xbox is pushing hard to establish itself as a platform where “the world plays and creates,” handling feedback or requests from players this quickly will surely help shape perception around the platform.

Although Xbox isn’t doing pretty good in terms of revenue, it’s highly likely that Asha Sharma will lead the platform to a better future, given how she is dealing with things lately. In case you missed, Microsoft, keeping its promise, has also rolled out Xbox Mode for Windows 11 users in select markets. Moreover, Xbox yesterday announced a bunch of updates for the ROG Xbox Ally handhelds and detailed the April update spanning across console, PC, and mobile.
