Mozilla Firefox is now officially supported by NVIDIA GeForce NOW
NVIDIA has officially added Firefox to GeForce NOW’s supported browsers on Windows. The move follows years of requests and months of engineering between NVIDIA and Mozilla. Players can now stream more than 2,000 PC games directly through Firefox.
NVIDIA GeForce NOW officially adds support for Firefox, opening door to 1440p and 120FPS cloud gaming
The new support means Firefox users can access GeForce NOW without downloading games or upgrading their hardware. Players simply need a compatible Windows PC, Firefox, and a GeForce NOW account.
NVIDIA says GeForce NOW Ultimate members can reach up to 1440p resolution and 120 frames per second. The service can also access libraries from Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox PC Game Pass, and Ubisoft Connect.
That makes the browser choice less restrictive for players who already prefer Firefox. They can also keep Discord, guides, or Reddit nearby using Firefox features such as Split View.
NVIDIA’s Andrew Fear called Firefox a first-class experience for GeForce NOW players. “We’re excited to welcome Firefox,” Fear said, highlighting a new way for millions of Firefox users to stream games.
Mozilla’s Ajit Varma described the partnership as “a milestone moment” for Firefox and NVIDIA’s gaming communities. He also pointed to Firefox’s privacy, control, and flexibility as key parts of the appeal.
The rollout is available now on Windows. Users can update Firefox, visit GeForce NOW’s website, and sign into their account. NVIDIA is also planning more announcements during Gamescom 2026 on August 25.
