NVIDIA Returns to Gamescom With Major GeForce Updates

NVIDIA GeForce On Gamescom 2026 returns on August 25, with NVIDIA preparing a new community update focused on GeForce features and upcoming PC games.

NVIDIA will stream its Gamescom 2026 GeForce On Community Update on YouTube and Twitch at 8 AM PT / 17:00 CEST.

The company hasn’t revealed everything planned for the presentation, but several long-awaited GeForce technologies could make an appearance.

DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction could launch

One of the strongest possibilities is the official rollout of DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction.

NVIDIA previously said its second-generation Ray Reconstruction model would arrive in August, putting Gamescom at a logical point for a release announcement.

The newer model can reportedly already be enabled in other supported games through NVIDIA Profile Inspector after files associated with it appeared in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta.

With those files surfacing shortly before Gamescom, NVIDIA could use GeForce On to officially launch DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction more broadly.

NVIDIA could finally share more about DLSS 5

NVIDIA may also provide an update on DLSS 5.

The company announced the technology at GTC in March 2026 but has shared relatively little about it since. Gamescom could give NVIDIA an opportunity to reveal more about its development, supported games, or rollout plans.

Another possible topic is RTX Spark, NVIDIA’s Arm-based Windows platform.

Information about RTX Spark has remained limited, with some of the latest details coming from leaked Geekbench results.

Reflex 2 is still waiting for release

NVIDIA Reflex 2 also remains unreleased, making it another candidate for the Gamescom presentation.

NVIDIA introduced the technology earlier but hasn’t yet delivered a full release, so GeForce On could bring an availability update.

Meanwhile, NVIDIA RTX 50 GPU prices continue to climb well beyond MSRP, an issue NVIDIA has yet to publicly address.
