Cyberpunk 2077 and Nine Other Games Will Leave Xbox Game Pass Mid-September

Xbox Game Pass subscribers have another deadline approaching, with 10 games scheduled to leave the service on September 15. As Microsoft confirmed the incoming games as part of Setpember 2026 Wave 1 lineup, the company also revealed games that are heading out mid-September.

Ten games are heading out mid-September

Cyberpunk 2077 is among the biggest departures, although it remains available through Cloud and Console until then. Dead Cells is also leaving across Cloud, Console and PC.

Commandos: Origins, Cricket 24 and Deep Rock Galactic Survivor are also being removed. Frostpunk 2 will leave the PC catalog. Mullet MadJack, Spiritfarer and Superliminal are also on Microsoft’s departure list. Train Sim World 5 rounds out the group across Cloud, Console and PC.

That gives subscribers two weeks to finish campaigns or squeeze in another session. Players who want permanent access can also purchase the games before their membership access ends.

That being said, Game Pass removals remain part of Microsoft’s rotating catalog strategy. New additions continue releasing as other games make room. The countdown is already running for players with unfinished saves.
