Xbox Free Play Days Includes College Football 27 and More (September 3 - 6)

Xbox Free Play Days is back for September 3 through September 6, 2026, with four games available under different access conditions.

Xbox has announced this week’s Free Play Days lineup, which includes The Survivalists, EA Sports College Football 27, The Lonesome Guild, and Under the Waves.

The Survivalists requires Xbox Game Pass

The Survivalists is available throughout the Free Play Days weekend for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members.

Eligible subscribers can access the full game from September 3 through September 6.

EA Sports College Football 27 is free for all Xbox users

EA Sports College Football 27 is available to all Xbox players during the promotion, with no Xbox Game Pass membership required.

The free access period runs through September 6. Xbox is also offering the Deluxe Edition at a 25% discount during the event.

The Lonesome Guild and Under the Waves get two-hour trials

The Lonesome Guild is available to all Xbox users as a two-hour timed trial.

The game supports Xbox Play Anywhere and comes optimized for Xbox Series X|S.

Under the Waves also gets a two-hour trial for all Xbox users.

Players interested in continuing after the trial can also pick up Under the Waves at an 85% discount through September 6.

Progress and achievements carry over

Players who decide to purchase any of the games after Free Play Days can continue from where they stopped during the free period.

Gamerscore and achievements earned while playing will also remain attached to their accounts.
