Each new version of Windows has brought something new in terms of visual appearance and functionality, but quite often people miss the little things that come with each new version of Windows. Speaking of little things, today we’re going to see what new sounds are available in Windows 10.
Over the years many things have changed about Windows, and we got improved and simplified design, many new features and more. With the latest versions of Windows we got support for touchscreen devices. These are all major changes that users will surely notice the first time they start their Windows, but let’s talk about small, more subtle changes.
As you know, with every generation of Windows comes new set of sounds, and Windows 10 isn’t an exception, so let’s have a closer look at new sounds in Windows 10.

Just like previous versions of Windows, Windows 10 comes with set of its own exclusive sounds. If you’ve been following the Windows releases over the years, you’ll notice that sounds have become more melodious. This is maybe not what everybody prefers but Windows 10 is continuing this practice.
You’ll be pleased to hear that Windows 10 comes with 76 new sounds that will play for certain events such as locking or unlocking your Windows 10, email notifications, calendar notification or regular notifications.
As for the sounds, there are sounds for all sorts of notifications from pop-up blocked, notifications, minimization, maximization, proximity connection, proximity notifications, printing completed and many other functions.
