Mass Effect: Andromeda is a game that challenges players to explore the universe in order to find a new habitable planet for mankind. However, this is not an easy task as you have to defeat waves of hostile alien forces in order to reach your goal. Unfortunately, you also have to deal with the various technical issues that can occur from time to time, too. The good news is that there’s already a list of workarounds available for them, allowing you to fix some of the most common bugs.

In particular, many players have complained about the game’s strange camera behavior, reporting that the camera doesn’t stay still and wobbles around as soon as they release the controller. Here’s how one player describes this issue:

Playing on XBox One, I’m just standing on the Nexus not touching anything and it feels like I’m in a ship on the ocean. It’s a constant back and forth movement that is highly irritating after even just a few seconds. and it’s not like it’s just side to side or forwards and back, it’s diagonal from the upper right to the lower left.

How to fix camera bugs in Mass Effect: Andromeda

Solution — Save the game manually and exit

1. Save the game manually > exit the game entirely

2. Load the manual save. The camera shaking should not persist after closing the game.

Both Xbox One and Windows PC players confirm that camera shaking disappears after performing a full restart of the game. If you’ve come across other solutions to this bug, you can list the troubleshooting steps in the comment section below.
