Acer launches its new Aspire and Swift laptop series
Acer announced an all-new Aspire notebook lineup and its updated Swift 1 and Swift 3 lightweight Windows laptops.
The Acer Aspire notebook series
The Aspire series is targeted towards the mainstream users looking for a single device to fulfill their needs. The series include the Aspire 1, Aspire 3, Aspire 5 and Aspire 7.
The Acer Aspire 7 features a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics, 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz memory, 2TB storage and an M.2 SSD with up to 512GB of storage. It comes with a 15-inch or 17-inch display, an HD camera with HDR and the Dolby Audio Premium provides an amazing sound experience. It will be available in EMEA in July for €899.
The Acer Aspire 5 is also powered by a 7th gen Core processors, athe latest NVIDIA GeForce graphics, and a maximum of 20GB DDR4 2400MHz memory. It features an HDD with up to 2TB of storage or a M.2 SSD with up to 256GB. It comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display and will be available in EMEA in June for €549.
The Acer Aspire 3 features a 14-inch HD, 15.6-inch HD or a 15.6-inch Full HD display. You can choose between an Intel Core, Celeron or Pentium processors with up to 12GB memory. Its BlueLightShield tech reduces eye strain when you’re looking at the display and will be available in June at €399.
The Acer Aspire 1 is a 14-inch device powered by an Intel Celeron or Pentium processor with 32/64GB eMMc storage, 4GB DDR3L memory and Intel HD Graphics supported by nine hours of battery life. It will be available in June for €249.
The Acer Swift series
The Acer Swift 1 is the entry-level model in the Swift series that measures in at just 19.9mm thick and 1.6kg. Its Chiclet keyboard stands out with round-cornered keys while its 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display that supports vivid colors. For more information on its features, check out Acer’s official page.
The Acer Swift 3 comes with a cool and sleek metal finish. It measures 70 inches and weighs 3.3 pounds so it’s extremely easy to carry around. This laptop can be configured with 2×2 802.11 ac MU-MIMO technology for faster Wi-Fi and a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello support. You can enjoy content on its 14-inch Full HD IPS display. The Swift 3 series will be available in North America in June with prices starting at $599 and in EMEA with prices starting at €649. In China, they’ll cost around ¥3,999. The Swift 1 series will become available also in June in North America for $329, in the EMEA at prices starting from €399, and in China for ¥3,499.
