2. Disable Protected Mode at Startup

  6. Uncheck the “Enable Protected Mode at Startup”.

3. Check for permission issues

  2. Navigate to the following location:
    C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\
  3. Make sure all the files and folders are visible (Unhidden). To do this, click the View tab, and check the Hidden Items box.

  5. Select Properties.
  6. Open the Security tab.
  7. Click the Advanced button.
