AMD confirmed the released date of the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards ahead of Computex 2025. Now, they’re finally here. These new GPUs come in two versions: one with 8GB of VRAM and another with 16GB. Both target gamers playing at 1080p and those dipping into 1440p.

Last week, some raised concerns about the 8GB model being too limited, but AMD defended saying most players won’t have a problem with that less memory.

You can buy either the 8GB or 16GB AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT starting now. However, expect it to go out of stock soon, as the newly launched Nintendo Switch 2.

If you check third-party sellers, like Gigabyte, they’re already pricing the 8GB card around $329 on Amazon in the US. That’s above AMD’s suggested price of $299, so expect a bit of markup. The 16GB variant is listed for $636.

Here’s a quick look at what’s inside the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT: it uses AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture with 32 compute units. The cards have either 8 or 16GB of GDDR6 memory plus 32MB of Infinity Cache.

The core clock can boost up to 3.13 GHz, and memory runs at 20 Gbps for a bandwidth of 320 GB/s. It supports PCIe 5.0 and offers DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b outputs. Power use is rated around 160 watts but can vary between 150 and 182 watts depending on the setup.
