As Insider Gaming reports, ARC Raiders has now surpassed 12 million copies sold worldwide on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The milestone confirms the game’s strong momentum since launch and its growing presence in the live-service shooter space.

Embark Studios celebrates 12 million players with free Gilded Pickaxe

To celebrate the achievement, Embark Studios is gifting all eligible players a free Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool. The studio shared the announcement on X, outlining how players can claim the reward.

The cosmetic item was originally designed to mark the 10 million player milestone. However, the studio decided to release it globally following the jump to 12 million total players.

Any player who logged into ARC Raiders at least once before January 13 at 23:59 CET qualifies for the reward. Players will receive the item via in-game mail once the latest update goes live.

ARC Raiders continues to show impressive engagement numbers, with reports estimating around 3.2 million daily active players. The active community also continues to experiment with the game, as some players have managed to force ARC Raiders to run in a first-person perspective, despite the game not officially supporting the mode.
