If ASUS Armoury Crate is not showing CPU temp, you won’t be able to monitor it with this tool, and this can be a problem when overclocking or when working with intensive tasks. However, there’s a way to fix it.
What can I do if ASUS Armoury Crate doesn’t show CPU temperature?
Before we start, ensure that Armoury Crate is up to date, and try changing your theme to ROG THEME ARMOURY CRATE.
1. Update the AMDRyzenMaster Device driver
- Press the Windows key + X and choose Device Manager.
- Locate AMDRyzenMaster Device, right-click it, and choose Update driver.
- Select Search automatically for drivers.
- Once the driver is updated, check if the problem is gone.
2. Reinstall Armoury Crate
- Visit the ASUS Armoury Create page.
- Locate the Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool and download it.
- Run the software to completely remove Armoury Crate.
- Once removed, download and install Armoury Crate again.
3. Remove Intel XTU and similar software
- Open Settings and go to Apps. Select Installed apps.
- Locate Intel XTU on the list.
- Click the three dots next to it and then choose Uninstall.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.
Keep in mind that other sensor software can also cause these problems. A few users reported that they just needed to reinstall Intel XTU to fix this, so maybe you don’t have to remove it entirely.
4. Disable Memory integrity
- Press Windows key + S and enter windows security. Select Windows Security from the list.
- Next, go to Device security and click on Core isolation details.
- Next, locate Memory integrity and disable it.
If you don’t know what this feature does, we have a great guide on Memory integrity, so don’t miss it.
Some are suggesting to disable VMP as well, and you can do it by following these steps:
- Press Windows key + R and type optionalfeatures.
- Locate the Virtual Machine Platform and uncheck it.
- Lastly, click Apply and OK to save changes.
5. Enable SVM in BIOS
- Restart your PC.
- While it boots, keep pressing F2.
- Next, go to Advanced options.
- Locate SVM, enable it, and save changes.
If this method works, you can go back and disable SVM.
If the temp is not showing in ASUS Armoury Create, the problem is usually with the drivers or the installation, so update the drivers and reinstall the software and you should be good to go.
Keep in mind that there are other issues you can encounter and users reported that ASUS Armoury Crate Fan Control isn’t working. Sometimes, Armoury Crate has trouble detecting motherboard, but we have a guide that addresses this.
