When the new operating system shows up, everyone is talking about tricks that will make the experience of using this operating system better. In this article, we’ll show you something very useful, but its not only relevant to Windows 10, as it could be used in other Windows operating systems, as well.
Imagine this, you’re in the middle of some important work, you’re writing an essay, some kind of report, or something similar, and you accidentally press Casps Lock, but you’re not aware of it. Once you realized it, you’ll have to edit a couple of sentences, and waste valuable time, which could be very annoying. But, luckily there’s a solution for this problem with Caps Lock. In Windows 7, 8 and 10 you’re able to set a warning sound when you press Caps Lock, Num Lock or Scroll lock key.
Setting this warning sound is very easy, and it will take just a few moments of your time. Here’s what you need to do:
- Go to Search and type control panel
- Open Control Panel and click on Ease of Access Center
- Go to Make the keyboard easier to use
- Check Turn on Toggle Keys, under Make it easier to type and click OK
Now you have Scroll, Num and Caps lock warning enabled, and you don’t have to worry if you accidentally press one of these buttons, because you’ll hear a sound every time you do. As I said, this trick doesn’t work for Windows 10 Technical Preview only, as it could be used on other Windows operating systems, which is great, because you don’t have to search for another solutions if you’re using Windows 7 or Windows 8.
