Copilot will now let users create images in Microsoft Word using the text as a prompt
The feature should be live to all Mac users by the end of this month.

Microsoft introduced Copilot to Word last year, in November 2023, but the capabilities were limited to analyzing, summarizing, and coming up with writing ideas for users.
However, the Redmond-based tech giant is now allowing users to create images with Copilot in Microsoft Word using the text from there as a prompt. According to the latest entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the new feature should be available to all Microsoft 365 users on Mac devices, starting later this month.
What images can Copilot create? Well, it can come up with images or banners for your texts, and it uses the DALL-E 3-based Designer Image Creator to do so.
Copilot in Word now integrates with Designer to help you find the perfect image or create a banner to bring your document to life.

The capability is quite useful for those who want to enrich their texts with images, but don’t have the means or the budget to purchase images or create them by themselves.
In a matter of seconds, Copilot can analyze the text, and create an image based on it, and Microsoft will also allow you to choose from different versions until you get the one that fits the text best.
It’s a time-saver, and it can enhance productivity, and your texts will look better. The feature can be especially useful in situations such as school projects, or work presentations where you need to make Word documents more engaging.
The feature should be all available to all Mac users by the end of this month.
