Is Minecraft Down Due to Xbox Outage? Players Report Sign-In Issues Across Bedrock, Realms, and Multiplayer

Minecraft players are running into fresh login issues as Xbox confirms a major Account & profile outage. Bedrock players appear especially affected by the latest Xbox outage.

Xbox outage is causing Minecraft problems

Xbox status page currently lists Sign-in as a Major Outage. The issue affects Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, cloud gaming, mobile devices and Xbox on Windows.

Microsoft has confirmed that it is still working on fixing the issue. In addition to sign-issues, Xbox latest outage is also affecting Creating profiles, which remains marked as a Major Outage. Microsoft lists both problems under Incident ID 4661.

That matters for Minecraft because Bedrock relies heavily on Microsoft account and Xbox services. Players are reporting that they can’t sign into Xbox Live inside Minecraft. Some players are also reporting issues accessing Minecraft Realms, Bedrock, and multiplayer features.
