What is Diablo 4 error code 700004?

How can I fix Diablo 4 error code 700004?

1. Log out of Battle.net client and log back in

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
  2. Choose Log out.
     
  3. Wait for a few moments and enter your login information.

2. Log in to your older character

  1. If you have a character from the previous season, log on to it.
  2. Log out from that character.
  3. Lastly, try logging in to the character from this season.

3. Use the Scan and repair option

  1. Select Diablo 4 in your library.
  2. Click the cog next to the Play button.
  3. Now choose Scan and Repair from the menu.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.
