The Microsoft Edge Dev Channel update to version 136.0.3209.2 includes improvements to enhance the platform’s user experience.
Users can now sign in to utilize AI themes, a new feature designed to elevate customization and personalization.
Regarding problems with the browser, significant efforts have been made to address persistent issues, such as browser crashes during CAPTCHA PDF printing on Android, context menu crashes involving managed favorites, and display inconsistencies when toggling between dark and light modes.
On iOS, the latest Edge Dev, 136.0.3209.2, addressed the issue of white screens appearing in the Copilot side pane and fixed black screen flashes during use.
On Android, it rectified problems with Bing being improperly set as the default search engine and corrected developer option display names to ensure accuracy and clarity.
On Mac, Edge Dev 136.0.3209.2 resolved visual gaps that appeared below the Favorites bar and fixed issues with the mini menu’s “Copy” function not performing as expected.
