Forza Horizon 6 Early Access & Global Release Times for Xbox and Steam Are Now Official

The hype around Playground Games’ next racing title, Forza Horizon 6, feels impossible to ignore. In case you are unaware, the game leaked over the last weekend, which the studio later confirmed and warned that anyone playing the leaked version will face franchise-wide and hardware bans. Apparently, at least one player has already been banned until the year 9999.

Forza Horizon 6 early access release times revealed

To remind you, players who purchased the Premium Edition will only get access to Forza Horizon 6 starting May 15 in most regions. On Xbox, users in the US can start slightly earlier, with Early Access unlocking on May 14 at 9:01 PM PT and 11:01 PM CST.

Meanwhile, Steam players globally can jump into Forza Horizon 6 at 12:01 AM local time on May 15. The same local-midnight rollout also applies to Xbox players outside the US. Not to forget, you can always pull off the “New Zealand trick” on Xbox by changing the console region to New Zealand. In other words, you can access the game as soon as it hits midnight there, which could unlock the game nearly half a day earlier depending on the region.

The Premium Edition includes four days of Early Access, although it comes at a much steeper price than the Standard Edition.

Full launch lands May 19 on Xbox and PC via Steam

For players waiting for the standard release, Forza Horizon 6 officially launches on May 19 globally. Similar to Early Access timing, Xbox users in the US will get access on May 18 at 9:01 PM PT and 11:01 PM CST.

Everywhere else, including Steam, the game unlocks at 12:01 AM local time on May 19. The game will launch across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam, while also arriving day one on Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Play Anywhere support is included as well.
