How do I fix GlobalProtect not connecting on Windows

1. Restart GlobalProtect Service

  1. Hit the Windows button, type Task Manager in the search bar, and click Open.
  2. Select the Services tab, locate PanGPS, right-click on it and click Restart.
  3. Try reconnecting.

2. Uninstall and reinstall GlobalProtect

4. Reset your network

  1. Press the Windows key + I to open Settings.
  2. Navigate to Network and Internet.network settings windows 11
  3. Select Advanced Network Settings.advanced network settings

5. Update network drivers

  1. Type Device Manager in the Start bar and select Open.device manager start bar
  2. Locate Network Adapters and expand the list (click on the “>” arrow).network adapter drivers
  3. Find the Globalprotect Network Adapter in the list, right-click on it, and select Update.update network adapter driver
  4. Wait for the process to complete and restart your PC.

Review security permissions

  1. On your Mac, click the Apple icon and select System Preferences.
  2. Click on Security & Privacy.

How long does GlobalProtect take to connect? 

Although many factors can affect the time it takes to connect to your GlobalProtect VPN, the general time is up to 15 seconds for the login screen to appear and 30-45 seconds for the actual connection.
