Last week, Rockstar Games finally announced GTA 6 pre-orders date, but it didn’t mention anything about price. Now that fans have a date in hand, the only question that remains is what the price of the game will be. Days after confirming that pre-orders begin on June 25, early French retailer listings may have just leaked Rockstar’s pricing plans for GTA 6.

GTA 6 may cost more than fans expected, leaked retail listings suggest

French retailer Fnac has listed GTA 6 for €89.99, according to folks at GamesRadar+. While direct currency conversions briefly fueled fears of a $100 standard edition, regional pricing trends suggest the U.S. version may land closer to $90. That would still place GTA 6 above the current $70 standard adopted by most major publishers.

The listing reportedly includes four additional editions priced at $99.99, $109.99, $119.99, and $199.99. Rockstar has yet to confirm what these editions include, but the highest-priced version is widely expected to be a collector’s edition.

Questions around pricing have followed GTA 6 for months, especially as rising development costs, supply chain challenges, and increasing game budgets continue to reshape the industry. For now, all leaked pricing should be treated with caution until Rockstar makes an official announcement.

After two delays pushed the game to November 19, 2026, anticipation remains sky-high. If history is any indication, price concerns may do little to slow demand once pre-orders open later this month. Speaking of demand, a recent report predicted that GTA 6 might sell over 46 million units on launch day.
