can't run Roblox on Windows 11 in a VM

Recently, a user reported on Microsoft Community that he wasn’t able to launch Roblox on his computer and encountered Roblox cannot run inside a virtual machine error.

He also mentioned that when he reached out to Roblox support, they asked him to factory reset the Windows operating system. However, he didn’t want to do that as it is a hassle.

Therefore, he reached out to Microsoft Community for help. One of the independent advisors, the AK6795 issue, said the error could occur if Core isolation on your computer is turned on.

He suggested that to fix this error, uninstall the VM platforms from your device and toggle off the Memory integrity feature under Core isolation in the Windows Security app.

If you can’t locate the feature, type Core isolation in the Windows Security app. Once you are done uninstalling the VMs, reboot your computer.

In case you can’t see Core Isolation on Windows 11, read this guide to learn the fixes. This seems to fix the issue for the user who complained about it.

Did this fix your problem with Roblox? If yes, then share your experience in the comments section below.
