First, FlyByWire, the open-source community developing addons for MFS, released a snapshot of the much anticipated Airbus A380X.
Shared on the official Discord channel, it gives us a peek into the cockpit of the A380X, which looks promising by every standard.
Along with the snapshot, the team apprised players and enthusiasts of the progress made in the recent while,
We have made good progress on the A380X in the last few weeks, namely an integration of our custom made FMS together with the appropriate pilot interface in the multi function display (MFD), the integration of the Onboard Airport Navigation System (OANS), and various improvements on all instruments. Keep an eye on our YouTube for a progress update soon
If you are eagerly waiting for the A380X, there’s another good news! Something you can get your hands on right now.
NEW AGE SCENERY has released the Barbacena airport, located in the Campo das Vertentes region.
As per the description available on the official page,
Its function is to support the Preparatory School of Air Cadets, a high school institution of the Brazilian Air Force. The airport’s security and defense are provided by the troops of GSD-BQ, while medical care for its troops is carried out by GSAU-BQ.
In addition to its military and civilian operations, Barbacena Airport has also been the venue for various aeronautical events and aviation-related activities, contributing to the development and promotion of aviation in the region.
Sized 323.94 MB, the product is available for $6.47. Since it’s based on the simInstaller technology, you will need its app as well.
Recently, we had the Dune expansion pack in MFS, and now we have this exciting release. If history tells us anything, there’s much more on the way!
