KB5078127 Spotted as Microsoft Prepares Another Windows 11 Update
Microsoft has stayed busy pushing updates to Windows Insiders, with KB5074157 recently landing in the Dev Channel. That update delivered several fixes alongside new features, addressing problems affecting the Start Menu, Taskbar, and other core Windows components.
New KB Update Spotted for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2
A well-known Windows analyst on X, phantomofearth, revealed that a new update band targets Windows 11 25H2 and 24H2. The upcoming update carries the label KB5078127 and uses build number 26×00.7628. Microsoft has not released the update yet, and no official changelog details the features or fixes it may include.
For now, the KB5078127 build appears only as an internal listing, but its presence suggests Microsoft plans another round of updates soon. More information should surface once the company begins rolling it out to insiders or preview channels.
Recent days have proven rough for Microsoft’s update pipeline. The widely reported KB5074109 caused significant disruption, forcing Microsoft to publish official workarounds to fix Outlook issues.
Users also reported app crashes, random freezes, shutdown bugs, Azure Virtual Desktop problems, and black screen issues on systems with NVIDIA GPUs.
