Microsoft Copilot to Soon Get M365 Graph Integration for Smarter, More Personal Answers
Microsoft continues to expand its AI push, and Copilot is getting another meaningful upgrade. After recent additions like Copilot personalities and upcoming image generation in PowerPoint, the company is now working on deeper integration that should make Copilot feel far more personal and useful.
According to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap and first spotted by WindowsReport, Microsoft Copilot has started using the M365 Graph to generate responses. This change allows Copilot to pull from a broader set of signals across Microsoft 365, which should result in more relevant, contextual, and personalized answers for users.
Copilot gets smarter with M365 Graph integration
By tapping into M365 Graph, Copilot can better understand a user’s work context, preferences, and recent activity across Microsoft 365 services. Instead of generic replies, Copilot can now tailor responses based on real usage patterns, making suggestions and summaries feel more aligned with how people actually work.
Microsoft is also improving transparency around personalization. Updated settings make it easier to see what Copilot remembers, review stored preferences, and manage Copilot memory directly, giving users clearer control over their AI experience.
The feature remains in development, but Microsoft plans to roll it out in March across desktop, mobile, and web platforms.
This is not the only Copilot-related change on the horizon. Microsoft 365 Copilot may soon add watermarks to AI-generated content, a move that would help clearly identify AI-created materials and address growing concerns around content authenticity.
Elsewhere, Microsoft recently pushed an emergency fix for an Office zero-day exploit and urged users to update immediately. The company also warned users to stay cautious when opening files from unknown sources, highlighting ongoing security risks alongside its rapid AI expansion.
Together, these updates show Microsoft pushing Copilot toward deeper personalization while tightening control, transparency, and security across its ecosystem.
