Microsoft Edge Bing address bar

The latest release to Edge Beta, version 135.0.3179.11, brings many feature updates to the browser but also deprecates others, such as Microsoft Search experience for Edge for Business.

However, among the new enhancements and changes, Microsoft also adds new policies, and one, in particular, is important because it will impact Edge users right away.

The new AddressBarTrendingSuggestEnabled will allow Microsoft Edge to enable Bing to display trending suggestions in the address bar. As with any other policy, this one needs to be enabled first, for Edge users to see its impact, but it’s still interesting.

It could especially be helpful to companies looking to optimize their content for Bing Search, as the search engine will show them what’s currently trending on the Internet.

What do you think about this new policy?
