Microsoft Clipchamp Widget

Microsoft will enhance its video editing tool, Clipchamp, with widgets and a refreshed camera interface to improve users’ accessibility and functionality.

According to a recent entry on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Windows 11 users will benefit from a new Clipchamp widget to simplify workflows. The widget provides a quick and easy way to launch essential Clipchamp tools, such as screen recording, camera recording, and video project creation. This integration aims to make video production more accessible for creators of all levels, whether recording tutorials, presentations, or creative projects.

Here’s what the entry says:

With Microsoft Clipchamp Windows widget, Windows 11 users will have a quick way to launch screen recording, camera recording and create video projects.

Another entry on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap unveils that the camera feature in Clipchamp’s editor will be updated to a newer version, offering enhanced controls and options for content creators. The improved recording controls provide users with greater precision and customization, allowing them to tailor their recordings to their needs. The command bar will also be refined to make navigation more intuitive and visually streamlined, enabling creators to work more efficiently.

Both enhancements will be added to Clipchamp for Windows in May, and all users will be able to access them.

The video editing platform has recently been updated with a media library of over 5 million images and 300,000 videos, all copyright-free and ready to use in your commercial content.
