Key notes

  • It seems users from the Netherlands first reported the issue.
  • Other regions, such as Germany, Canada, and the UK were affected.
  • The issue has been fixed by itself, but users still wonder why did it happen.
microsoft rewards daily streak removed

Microsoft Rewards is a feature where Microsoft rewards you points by simply doing some tasks listed by the Redmond-based tech player. The program is not globally available, and it’s limited to a list of countries. You could, of course, bypass the limitation with a VPN, but it’s not recommended.

If you manage to do a list of tasks every day, you’ll be able to build up a streak, and in the end, you can earn all kinds of rewards from Microsoft, by doing so.

However, this week on Reddit, several users have been complaining that their daily streak is simply gone and it’s nowhere to be found. The issue started with a user in the Netherlands, and for a while, it seemed that only the European continent was affected.

But American users also had this problem. And not only the US but many other regions were affected as well. Users from Canada, Germany, and the UK worried that their streak was over due to a bug.

Was the Microsoft Rewards daily streak removed or was it a bug?

Of course, a lot of users have asked on the Reddit thread why was the Microsoft Rewards daily streak removed from their accounts.microsoft rewards daily streak removed

Some users agreed that the Microsoft Rewards daily streak was removed because of a discrepancy in the time zones, but it was not a certain cause. Others pinpointed that Microsoft wouldn’t do such a thing, and there must be a bug going on.

Indeed it was because several hours later, all is functioning, and the users can now see their daily streak again.

While Microsoft hasn’t said anything about it yet, the cause must have been an internal bug that somehow removed the Microsoft Rewards daily streak.

However, if you’re experiencing this problem, you can always reset the web page. Another option is close the page and open it back up.

Finally, you can log out of your account, and log back in. As the issue is seemingly fixed, you should now see your Microsoft Rewards daily streak again. But if not, you can always get help from Microsoft.
