moment update windows 11 24H2

Everyone is eagerly waiting for the Windows 11 24H2 update, but it seems that Microsoft has bigger plans in mind.

The company is working on another update that will follow this feature update so here’s what we know so far.

Microsoft is working on a follow-up Moment update to Windows 11 24H2

Moment 5 update was recently released, but it seems that Microsoft has no plans to slow down. This update brought some changes, and it has addressed CVE-2024-26248 and CVE-2024-29056 vulnerabilities.

As TechRadar writes, even though 24H2 isn’t out yet, Microsoft is already working on a Moment update that will follow it.

This was discovered by a Twitter user Albacore:

It seems that Microsoft is already thinking about the future, and this update is expected to be shipped most likely in early 2025.

As you know, Moment updates are smaller feature updates that allow Microsoft to release some minor features more frequently.

This might eventually lead to Windows 12, as many are speculating that Windows 12 might be announced later this year.

As for the recent Moment update, many reported that KB5036893 is full of bugs, so maybe you should stay away from it while Microsoft addresses these issues.
