1. Update NET Framework

  2. Go to the Microsoft Download Center.
  3. Click the Download button. Run the installer and finish the installation. The installer may be required to download additional data to install the app.
  4. Once done, restart the computer.
  5. Try to install the Origin client or update it and check for any improvements.

If the issue persists, make sure that .NET Framework is enabled. Here is how to do it.

  1. Press Windows Key + R to open Run.
  2. Type control and click OK to open the Control Panel.
  3. Go to Programs > Programs and Features.
  4. From the left pane click on “Turn Windows Features on or off” option.
