Printer Making a Grinding Noise? 4 Ways to Fix it

1. Perform a quick reset

1. Make sure the printer is turned on and disconnect the power cable from the printer while it is still on.

4. Release the button and connect the printer cable to directly to the wall power outlet.

2. Perform a firmware update

4. Search for printer model and click on Submit.
5. Make sure to select the right version of Windows as per your system configuration.
6. Click on Firmware and then on the Download button.

3. Run printer troubleshooter

1. Click on Start and Settings.
2. Click on Update and Security.
3. Choose Troubleshoot.
   
4. Click on the Printer option and select Run the Troubleshooter.
5. Windows will now scan the system for any issues affecting the printer and recommend appropriate fixes.
